Completing the Pivot program is just the beginning for (pictured from left) Michael, Andre, Jonathan and David, with Pastor Richard Williams, and Claire England, Operations Director.
Chips Restaurant in Fairfield is the monthly venue for a Completion Breakfast, where Pivot leaders celebrate the graduates and get their feedback on their program experience. What was hard? What meant the most? What could the ministry do better?
Early recovery is tough, which is why Pivot provides supported reentry housing on site In Bridgeport for men starting work, so they can live in a sober community for a further 9 months, on top of the original nine months in the treatment program. David and Andre have already moved to the Pembroke Reentry House while working in Bridgeport and Shelton, Jonathan has joined Pivot's support staff, and Michael is waiting for a spot in Bridgeport supported senior housing.
